At 12:30 I went to my Sociology100 lecture. I loved the professor! He was in his 70s I would guess, and he totally was wearing his nice work clothes, but no shoes! He had a really good sense of humor and was telling all these pee jokes. His name is John Pease…say it out loud. Hahaha. Except at the end he said that wasn’t really his name and his name was a secret so that kind of confused me…but actually the fire alarm went off like 20 minutes before class was over so we got out early! But I think I’ll enjoy that class. Sociology has always been interesting to me, and I’m always curious about humans and why we do what we do. I’ll keep everyone updated on that.

After soc, I wanted to see if I could find the South Dining hall. I made it! So glad I know where it is, finally. It was actually pretty easy. They had a pretty large and in charge salad bar so I rolled with that.

This was a bed of Romaine and spinach topped with broccoli, cauliflower, cucumber, tomatoes, turkey, corn, garbanzos, pintos, jalapenos, a few pieces of pineapple, some cottage cheese, and my own hummus on the side. I also had half an Ezekiel tortilla with hummus. I found the hummus at WF and it’s spicy! Really good.

Now I’m just doing my daily reading of the news–required for journalism. I have a toooonn of reading to do already! Crazy. I have a class in about 15 minutes for Global Communities. Not really sure what’s going on there! After that I think I’m going to head to the Armory to get a book for Soc, and then probably back here to do reading. I have plans later to have dinner with a girl in GC, and then tonight is Dorchester Game Night! Hopefully all goes well!

Oh–here are some pics I took yesterday while I was on the grass doing math homework in front of McKeldin Library:
